Sales and Support Policy

This Sales and Support Policy applies to all software purchases made through Hobby-Robotics, LLC (Hobby-Robotics) and the Hobby-Robotics web sites www.hobby-robotics.com and www.hbbrbasic.com. All sales are subject to acceptance of Hobby-Robotics's License Agreement and any breach of this license agreement shall immediately terminate the right to use or continue to use any purchased or downloaded software. By downloading the software, you accept and are bound to the terms and conditions of this agreement.

Sales to End Users Only

The Hobby-Robotics sells products to end user customers only.

Registration key and License

The software products available for purchase on our web sites are downloadable after the purchase, however they require registration key and license file to be fully-functional. As a purchaser you have to provide valid e-mail address for a registration key and license file to be delivered to you. Hobby-Robotics license for software products is a nodelocked type license restricting the software to run on a specific machine. To activate the software product user has to provide Node Key for the machine it will be installed on.

In case of problems with downloading from the website the e-mail will be used as an alternative delivery method. Hobby-Robotics is not responsible for lost, delayed, or misdirected e-mail, downloading delays, or other communication system delays.

Customer Support

Return and Refund Policy

As a general policy, Hobby-Robotics does not provide refunds for software products downloaded or delivered to you. However, should technical difficulties or platform incompatibilities prevent the software from functioning Hobby-Robotics may, at Hobby-Robotics's sole discretion and after investigation of the problem, provide a full or partial refund. All such inquiries must be made within 15 days of the purchase date with the required proof of purchase to identify transaction. You must also submit a letter of destruction of software and registration keys before we will process the refund.

Proof of Purchase

Hobby-Robotics and/or PayPal will send you a confirmation of your order via e-mail upon purchase. You must provide a valid e-mail address for purposes of this confirmation and delivery of the registration key. If you are paying through PayPal, then PayPal will provide Hobby-Robotics with your default PayPal email address.

Payments

Hobby-Robotics accepts payments in US currency only, payments in non-US currency are not accepted. International customers making payment using must use currency conversion to make the payment in US currency.

Export Requirements

Hobby-Robotics products using encryption technology are subject to the U.S. Export AdministrationRegulations and other U.S. law. Hobby-Robotics exports its products under the NLR section 740.15 of the Export Administration Regulations to all countries except the following:
Cuba, Iran, Libya, North Korea, Sudan and Syria.

After the purchase, you are responsible for the claim that your acquisition and use of the software is in compliance with these U.S. Export Administration Regulations.
