Wireless connectivity is becoming ubiquitous in embedded world. There are many choices based on standard and sometimes complex solutions like Bluetooth, ZigBee or WiFi. However, very often there is a need for a simple and easy to use wireless link. Nordic Semi single chip 2.4GHz transceiver nRF24L01 or the newer version nRF24L01+ are very well suited for such a solution.
